My education (currently in progress) is focused on global marketing. I will graduate in January 2010 with a BBA (Business Admin). My Passion for Global Marketing is evidenced in my work, the enjoyment of every aspect of the craft, as well as my GPA (3.9). My other passion is art. I have no formal graphic design education, but, I have been dedicated to learning about it for over 5 years.
I started working with digital graphics when I didn't have room or resources to paint (acrylics were my primary artwork for many years). Next I wanted to start showing my work, still in starving student mode...I needed to do it 'free.' My son suggested GIMP and I have been using it ever since. My motivation was to build a web site (which developed into a small side business as well for awhile). I've learned to use open source apps (GIMP, Joomla, Serendipity, Open Office for example) and then I discovered Squidoo. In May '08 all the work I had been doing ignited and I've been joyfully content ever since.
I receive countless invitations to have my brain picked about Squidoo, day after day. So, after the
Blueprint conference in November '08 , I started developing content for a
'new squid' class, built the new graphic design gallery
www.gypsyowl.com , and have started joint ventures with numerous experts in several areas of the craft. The

The Lens Building venture has never been advertised before today. I build each lens set (a series of lenses - usually 3 lenses & your profile page) from scratch, by myself, without using any 'special' resources available only to Giant Squids. If you simply do not have the time to build a lens and really want your business to be featured on Squidoo, this may be an option for you.
I only accept 1 client a week. Being selected as a client has its rewards, but, it also has strick criteria as well. I will select one client who:
- Has an exceptional topic , product, service, or interest (no spam, no hype, no scam)
- Has confirmable references (testimonials, non commercial promotions in social media or other confirmed authorities of quality of product/service)
- Highest Business Ethical standards!
- Prepayment via Paypal (50% prior to starting project - balance due 30 days from starting project - You will have two weeks to review work and submit revision request or the 30 days will be extended accordingly).
- Complete a survey prior to start of project ( a few questions that will help me to build a comprehensive lens set for you).
- No Last Minute Urgent orders. A Squidoo Lens takes time to craft, to build, to optimize. In general this is a Two Week (start to draft) process. And then after submission of revision requests (by you), another week. So Plan ahead, not only for the turn around timeframe but also for the possibility that you are not selected as The ONE Client any given week.
- Additional Criteria may be added at any time (I will simply not accept clients on occasion for numerous reasons I will not list here).
